Hair Transplant Transformation: Real Patient Speaks After 1 Year

Summary

Bijan, a young man suffering from progressive hair loss , shared his emotional journey before and after undergoing a hair transplant. He described how hair fall deeply affected his confidence, especially in social settings where people often commented on his appearance. Despite trying numerous treatments, oils, and medications, nothing worked. Eventually, he discovered Dr. Anand Kumar Nagwani on YouTube, whose informative videos and reassuring words encouraged him to seek professional help.

In 2023, Bijan met Dr. Nagwani and was advised to undergo a hair transplant using the FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) method. The procedure was performed on January 4, 2024. Now, more than a year later, Bijan returned for his PRP session and expressed immense satisfaction with the results. He reported a significant boost in self-confidence and shared that no one can now tell he had a transplant—the hair looks completely natural.

Dr. Nagwani added that hair loss in young individuals often leads to low confidence and emotional distress. Bijan agreed, stating he once avoided relatives and social gatherings due to embarrassment. He also highlighted the lack of awareness in rural areas, where people still rely on oils or temporary fixes and are unaware of permanent solutions like hair transplant.

Both the doctor and the patient emphasized the importance of taking hair fall seriously and consulting experts early. Bijan ended by expressing heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Nagwani for helping him regain not just his hair, but also his confidence and happiness.

Interview After Hair Transplant (1 Year Ago)

Patient (Bijan):
My hair fall started back in 2014. Gradually, it began increasing. Whenever I went out among people, everyone had something different to say. Looking at me, some would comment, “Hey, your hair is falling,” and if I went to any event, they’d say things like, “What’s happening to your head?” I had to face many such questions. Then I thought, “What can I do?” Around that time, there was a sir in our area who told me about hair transplant. He advised me to search on YouTube, so I did. That’s when I found Dr. Anand Kumar Nagwani on YouTube. I got his phone number from there and called him.

Later, I came here and sir suggested going for a hair transplant. I underwent the hair transplant just a month ago (on 4th January 2024). Today, I’ve come for my first PRP session. Looking at the results, I feel really good. After the transplant, I feel satisfied seeing hair on my head. I now believe that just like everyone else, I too have hair on my head.

Present Interview (1 year and 1 month later)

Doctor:
We had done his hair transplant using the FUT method. I’ll show the donor area for a moment.

A light scar is visible—you can see it now because you’re seeing it through a zoomed-in view. But even over the scar, there’s hair growth. Unless someone examines very closely, no one would even guess that he had a hair transplant. Beautiful, healthy hair has grown in the front area too, which is clearly visible. Bijan, you go ahead and share something in your own words.

Bijan (Patient):
Before the hair transplant, I had already started experiencing hair fall. It kept increasing day by day. I used countless medicines, oils, even consulted doctors. I tried ayurvedic oils too, but nothing worked. Then, through YouTube, I came in contact with you. When a boy loses hair, only he knows how much confidence he loses. Others may not understand, but I do.

Doctor:
Right, right. The smile we see on your face today wasn’t there back then.

Bijan:
That’s all because of you. Thanks to you,  While browsing YouTube, when I found your videos, I watched many of them. I loved the way you spoke. That really touched me. I told my family too, and then I came to see you in 2023. You examined me and suggested the FUT method for the transplant. You said it would be good, and then you gave me a date. I confirmed the date and got the transplant done on 4th January 2024.

From that point till now—1 year and 1 month later—I’m very happy. Earlier, people used to say I didn’t have hair on my head. They’d make all sorts of comments. Now I don’t need to say anything back to them—they see me and understand everything themselves.

I feel great going out now. Earlier, I used to feel uncomfortable. If any relatives came over, I used to avoid them. Because the moment they saw me, they’d look straight at my head. But now, I feel much better because I have hair on my head. No one can even tell that I’ve had a hair transplant, or that the hair is fake. They just can’t tell. I’m really happy—and that happiness is all because of you. I should thank you for that.

Doctor:
Stay well and stay healthy. I just want to say one more thing: when young boys lose hair, it really affects their confidence. They start losing interest in everything—just like you were saying, you didn’t feel like seeing relatives or being around people.

Patient (Bijan):
Yes, I used to feel guilty, like I had done something wrong. As soon as I’d be in front of someone, they’d start making unpleasant comments. It felt like I had done something terrible. And one thing I’d like to say is—back in my village, a lot of people don’t know much about this. Everyone experiences hair fall these days, but many don’t know there’s a solution for it.

Some just keep applying oils, others use shampoos, some go to skin doctors. But even then, they just keep switching shampoos—for temporary relief. In my opinion, hair fall should be taken seriously. Just like any other illness, hair fall should also be addressed seriously. People in villages are often unaware that there is a solution. My advice: consult a doctor, and things will definitely get better.

Doctor:
Stay well and stay healthy. Thank you.
